IKhomishini Yokhetho Ezimele (i-IEC) yamemezela ngomhlaka-22 Juni 2026 ukuthi kubhaliswe imisebenzi yokubhalisa abavoti eyizigidi ezingu-2.9 ngempelasonto yokubhalisa eyayibanjwe ngomhlaka-20-21 Juni, okwakhuphula uhlu lwabavoti lukazwelonke lwabavoti abayizigidi ezingu-28.5 ngaphambi kokhetho lohulumeni basekhaya lwaseNingizimu Afrika oluhlelelwe umhlaka-4 Novemba 2026. IKwaZulu-Natali yayihola ngemisebenzi yokubhalisa engu-691,504, eyakha i-23% yomsebenzi kazwelonke, kanti intsha eneminyaka engu-16 kuya kwengu-29 yayinenani elikhulu lababhalisile okokuqala, ngokusho kweSikhulu Esiphezulu Sokhetho se-IEC, uSy Mamabolo.<\/p>\n

Ukuphuma Kwentsha Nokuzibandakanya Kwedijithali<\/h4>\n

I-IEC ibike ukuthi abantu baseNingizimu Afrika abangu-477,000 babhalisele ukuvota okokuqala ngempelasonto, kanti abangu-80% balaba ngabantu abasha abaneminyaka ephakathi kuka-16 no-29.
