Fufe Makatong has been a key member of the Northern Cape Provincial Executive Council, first appointed as MEC for Roads and Public Works on 26 June 2020 by Premier Zamani Saul and reappointed in April 2024 according to provincial records. She is recognised for her leading role in infrastructure projects, notably co-launching ‘Operation Vala Zonke’ with Premier Saul in August 2022\u2014a national campaign to address pothole repairs.<\/p>\n
